5 Greatest Technological Inventions

1. CELLULAR PHONES
Communication has always been a key to success, from wars to relationships. The comparison between today's cell phones, which offer instantaneous and untethered communication, to the old-fashioned paper-and-pen process is nothing short of incredible. And the Nielsen ratings service predicted that one out of every two Americans would own smart phones at the end of 2011, according to the website GigOm. So it's not just calls these phones are good for; they offer a veritable banquet of computer access at your fingertips.

2. GPS

Thanks to the GPS, or Global Positioning System, and its integration in just about everything tech-related, most of you will never get lost again. And we're not talking just about those dashboard displays. The half of Americans carrying smart phones likely have GPS apps guiding the way. According to the British newspaper The Telegraph, GPS was originally developed in 1978 by the U.S. military.

3. INTERNET

Compared to inventions that have existed for hundreds of years, such as the microscope or telescope, the Internet is still in its infancy. Still, the Internet has arguably changed the world more than most other inventions. The Internet was invented in the late '60s and made available to the public in the '90s. Since then, it has improved both communication and information dissemination and changed daily life for virtually everyone on Earth.

4. DIGITAL CAMERAS

Digital cameras are beloved by many because they capture sentimental moments and personal adventures. They come in handy for recording such memories, but they also play a significant role in news dissemination and recording history in general. While film-based cameras paved the way for their digital descendants, today's high-tech cameras and integrated phones eliminate long processing times and allow us to share pictures instantly.

5. PERSONAL COMPUTER

No list of the "greatest technologies ever invented" is complete unless it includes the personal computer. The magazine Popular Mechanics reports the first general purpose computer was a 30-ton behemoth invented in 1947. Though an incredible machine, it was far too large for any home. The invention of the personal computer, or PC, happened in the 1970s and revolutionized the entire world.

Use of technology

The use of technology can help us in many areas, for example in medicine, to discover new diseases and medicines for them, as a result millions of people have been saved from death, they have become walking, etc. Moreover, the technology also helps us discover new things outside our planet about approaching her life alternatives among other things and within our planet as climate, prevent storms, hurricanes, heavy rain, etc. we they help prepare for the occasion. Also for many it is an alternative work either entering platforms like youtube, or looking for job postings, also serves as a means of entertainment for many young people in the world, finding games like creating them, listening to music, watching your favorite series and finding bif (internet best friend). Finally, technology is not only focused on a single point, we are in a century in which everything revolves around technology, no one can do anything without help from her, everything gets into it,

and as more technology going forward, more are being born and adapt to it faster than some older who are left behind, now, children find their happiness on the Internet and not going to play in the street.

The positive and negative impacts that technology has on our lives

Technology plays a very important role in our daily lives .It help us everyday but also affect us everyday. Technology has a big impact on our daily live in many form. In the present globalized world, we are living in the era of advanced technology. Every part of our daily life is related to technology in one or other way. Technology has both negative and positive effects on our lives and society. In this article, we’ll talk about the positive and negative effects of technology.
Positive effects
Technology is very important in humankind’s growth because at any stage of its development technology has made life easier and has opened several doors of opportunities for us that were unthinkable before.
There are so many advantages with improved technology in our daily life. With the help of mobile technology we are able to talk to our friends and relatives who are living far from us. With the help of internet, we are able to learn new things and share information in seconds. Several studies have shown that students who have better access with technology have better chances of learning and doing well at school than those without.Another very positive effect that technology has given mankind is in health care. technology has developed better treatments for the patients.Technology has a great impact on all the fundamental aspects of all our cultures

including laws and how they are enforced, language, art, health care, mobility, education and religión
Negative effects
technology is also affecting our world in a bad way. there are instances which show the problems with improved and advanced technology or the solution for one problem with the help of technology is giving rise to another problem. With the use of same internet children are getting addicted to online games and their physical activities and exercises are becoming considerably less. The same social networks are creating rivalry between best friends and couples are getting divorced. The same aviation technology is giving health problems for their workers and creating serious environmental threats. With the heavy usage of fertilizers soil is losing its natural fertility and several varieties of plants became extinct.
In conclusion technology has positive and negative sides. We are the deciders and we have to choose how to use it. With technology we can make great things that make our world. But the problem is in the way that we use it. if we use it in a good way, we would't have problem.

What is technology?
It's a word that has Greek origins and is composed of tekhne (refers to technical, trade or profession) and logos (meaning study). It is therefore that technology is the art and technique that make objects that meet the needs of individuals in specific communities.
Technologhy is the combination of know-how (knowledge or experiences) and scientifically ordained also that allow the creation of goods and services that improve the quality of life of the people to meet their essential needs and desires.
Types of technologies
The technology is divided into two large groups:
In first place, there are them technologies hard (us provide goods tangible as e.g. aspoon of wood) and them technologies soft (are those that we provide goods intangible as it is the case of the creation and development of a software). It is usual to relate the soft technologies to the field of Economics, management and administration while, on the other hand, the hard technologies are closely related to the area ofphysics and chemistry. There are also other existing classifications that will be detailed below.
We can find a flexible technology that scaled technologies in different areas (for example, the microchip that is used both phones and computers) as thus also find fixedtechnology that encompasses the set of technologies for a product or area.
